Sorry to hear about Ron, Lou. My thoughts are with his family and friends.Let us all hope that Ron is able to enjoy doing it for real, something we would all like to do instead of simming, on the 'other side' of life?We never die, it is just 'change'. R.I.P. Ron.

I admit to not knowing the man's name, but the rest of you do, so I will offer my condolences to his family and enjoy a quiet flight in memory of someone who obviously earned the respect and gratitude of my fellow flightsim flyers.

Lou, I recall back in 2003 I believe when Ron was working on the flight model for the Cessna 310, and I was working on the Aero Commander FM, Ron and I would compare notes and I thought, "How interesting!", that Ron would take his time to explain indepth the areas where he and I were struggling, and worked together to sort things out. I was new to it all but an eager student.Ron invested so much time in testing and analyzing but always took time to explain and share. He was a gentleman and a trusted friend. I will certainly miss him.

High FlightOh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirthOf sun-split clouds - and done a hundred thingsYou have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swungHigh in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring thereI've chased the shouting wind along, and flungMy eager craft through footless halls of air.Up, up the long delirious, burning blue,I've topped the windswept heights with easy graceWhere never lark, or even eagle flew -And, while with silent lifting mind I've trodThe high untresspassed sanctity of space,Put out my hand and touched the face of God.RIP Ron
