Martin,Don't have any firsthand experience with the plane or any of the Airbus panels out there myself. I assume you saw the 2nd most downloaded one in the library behind the Mitchell one: Edward Cox's rendition with over 33 thousand downloads (2nd most behind the Mitchell one). It requires the PSS A320 Pro. File name is pssa320ed.zip. Mitchell made really nice panels, I'm discovering. The URL for his site in his old readmes doesn't work any more - anyone know if there's a corner of the web he's still hanging out in?

Yes it does merge very well with the PSS panel (although PSS don 't provide support for merges). The only issue I found was the same as with the iFDG/PSS merge in that the EGT temps are too high, but this can be adjusted in the air file with AirEd. I used the Emil Serafino soundset which is good as are those by Mike Maarse. However, having just looked at the air file it only has 7 lines compared the very high number in every other air file I have seen. And none of those 7 lines are the ones we want for EGT overtemps. I'll have to give this some thought.Rob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk

Mitch left us a long time ago, I still have a lot of panels on my website www.ewr0688.com under the download section. He gave permission back in the day so that is where they still live, not sure where else they can be found to be honest. I do not have ALL of them but quite a few :)

Yes I wasn't claiming you had got anything wrong, we had the same issue with the ifdg merge and it's usually something that can be easily adjusted in line 540 of the airfile. Although on this occasion that is proving tricky as the air file has been very much reduced so I assume the parameters are included elsewhere.I found the aircraft very nice to handle on a visual approach yesterday, excellent work.Rob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk

Martin, to use the PSS panel just copy all the contents of the Flight Simulator 9/Aircraft/PSSAB-Pro folder to the Project Airbus aircraft's Airbus folder overwriting the panel.cfg.One thing to check though is that the ECAM shows the correct engine variant: so look in the panel.cfg (using notepad) and go to the window00 section. The line that starts gauge02= should be as follows:For IAE engines:gauge02=PSS-A320!ECAM_UPPERV, 640, 527, 225, , 1For CFM enginesgauge02=PSS-A320!ECAM_UPPERV, 640, 527, 225, , 2Then the same in the Window01 section:For IAE engines:gauge02=PSS-A320!ECAM_UPPER, 640, 216, 225, , 1For CFM engines:gauge02=PSS-A320!ECAM_UPPER, 640, 216, 225, , 2Rob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk
