You ought to look at their aircraft as well....great external models, and very nice virtual cockpit panel textures that are easy on framerates...and a pleasure to look at, and a pleasure to fly.http://www.my-buddy-icon.com/Icons/objects/red_3d_plane.gifAlex ChristoffN562ZBaltimore, MD

Yes.. they ALL come with AFCADs..They are some of the nicest sceneries you can buy!! Not quite FlightScenery or FlyTampa quality.. but they are exremely detailed and all come with photorealistic ground... and they are extremely easy on the frames! You should also get the animated GMAX vehicles to go with them.. realy adds to the experience!Alex

easy on frames is definitely not what these sceneries are... but they are great to look at with a really good quality afcad file, they put lots of parking in with correct parking codes. But the framerates are not that good, especially if you want to add in the moving vehicles around.

Hi Alex (nice name);-) Not sure what performance problems you have with the Overland sceneries, but prior to upgrading my computer, they were the only really "frame-rate friendly" scenery packages on my system (and I have EVEYTHING worth having)For a while.. Japan was the ONLY place I could fly with any real fluidity.. and that was due in part to the Overland scenery packages (I have all six parts...) The only one that gave me a minimal hit was RJBB... but if I turned of the AI completely, it was fine...Now, of course, with my new system, I get excellent frames with them all AND with 100% AI and all animated ground vehicles. Maybe it's your system, but they've never been a problem for me at all... and my old system was a dinosaur (P4 2.8g w/1GB Ram, nVidia x1650 card)- Alex

Hi Al,I have to disagree with you here. I have all four volumes of the Japanese sceneries, and they are some of the best performing sceneries on my system. I have also added in the moving vehicle packages and have not noticed any measurable drame rate drop.Although my current PC is relatively new, I was also running these all last year on my older AMD Dual Opteron 248 (2 Gb RAM) with no problems.Do you have enough RAM, hard disk space, etc?

Hi folks :D Very pleased with the scenery, no FPS problems at all. Two points tho, the install was a bit odd, had to manually add all the airports :-hmmm and the afcad at RJAA has aircraft parked off lineand in one case a B777 over the up ramp to a terminal, I did the register afcad as required in the install, anyone else have this problem...?thanks again for your time, all the best,Steve

I found them to be fairly frame rate friendly and all in all they have to be right up there for best bang for the buck scenery. I don't know about the aircraft except they seem to be popular with plenty of good comments.
