Ground Environment Pro Texture Sets

Recommended Posts

Hi,Is there a way to save my additional texture sets that have been created with GEPro?. I ask this because I do not want to spend another 10 to 15 hours creating GEPro texture sets in the future if I have to reinstall FS2004.Thanks

Yes; last time I reinstalled FS9 I backed up my sets and copied them into my new GEPro install.I cannot remember exactly, but I believe GEPro recognized the sets immediately.

Confirmed. Just make a copy of your GePro II folder somewhere safe and when you are doing a reinstall, simply copy those texture sets back. I did that too.Regards,Jure

Hello,Is there a particular sub folder within GEPro that contains my created texture sets that I can back up or do I have to back up the entire GEPro folder and all its sub folders?

Yea just burn a DVD or dump it on an external HDD - drag the entire GEP folder across :)

Now that's a great idea. I just installed GE Pro on my new pc and created only 10 different texture sets last night. It took over an hour for them to compile, so I'm glad that I saw this thread!Joe
