Hello,The following problem occurs on my computer :-I turn on my computer (with the power switch)-I start Flight Simulator 2004, and I experience very low frame rate (10-15)-I restart the computer (via windows)-I start Flight Simulator 2004, and my high frame rate returns (30-60)-As long the computer isn't shut down, the high frame rates will stay.I noticed that the low frames only seem to occur in Flight Simulator, its possible that it happens in other games, but I don't notice it.What I've tried to fix it :-Computer Format-Clearing CMOS-Reinstalling the drivers (I did that four times)-Trying different Catalyst driversThanksEDIT : Forgot to post my specs :Windows: Windows XP5.1 (Build 2600) Service Pack 2Internet Explorer: 6.0.2900.2180Memory (RAM): 2048 MBCPU: AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+CPU Speed: 2443.4 MHzSound card: Realtek AC97 AudioDisplay Adapters: ALL-IN-WONDER X800 Series | ALL-IN-WONDER X800 Series Secondary | UltraMon Display Mirror Driver | NetMeeting driver | RDPDD Chained DDScreen Resolution: 1280 X 1024 - 32 bit: Network Adapters: Bluetooth PAN Network Adapter - Packet Scheduler Miniport | Marvell Yukon 88E8001/8003/8010 PCI Gigabit Ethernet Controller - Packet Scheduler MiniportCD / DVD Drives: E: TSSTcorpCD/DVDW SH-S182F | F: HL-DT-STCD-RW GCE-8520B | K: MagicISOVirtual DVD-ROM: COM Ports: COM3 | COM4 | COM5 | COM6 | COM7 | COM8 | COM9 | COM10 | COM11 | COM12 | COM13 | COM1LPT Ports: Mouse: 5 Button Wheel Mouse PresentHard Disks: C: 74.5GB | D: 232.9GBHard Disks - Free: C: 63.1GB | D: 36.6GBUSB Controllers: 5 host controllers.Firewire (1394): Not Detected: Manufacturer: Product Make: : AC Power Status: OnLineBIOS Info: ATAT COMPATIBLE 031506 A M I 3000615Time Zone: Eastern Standard TimeBattery: No BatteryMotherboard: Modem: Bluetooth Fax ModemBluetooth DUN ModemBluetooth LAP ModemBluetooth LAP Modem #2

"Anyone else have this problem ?"What problem? Be thankful you've finally found a "methodolgy" that results in consistant and excellent frame rates..........whatever works. (sometimes one needs to take unorthodox measures for adequate perfomance, especially when dealing with 3 yr old software designed for the future..........;-))Regards, KendallDell 8400 3.2 GHZ H.T.3GB 533 DDR2X800XT 256MB/Catalyst driver - 7.1's6x AA/16x HQ A/FDiamond Xtreme/Logitech X-530'sDual Monitor: Dell 2405/1905CH Yoke/Pedals - Saitek Throttle
