Nice model,nice panel but what a mess trying to install.So many updates no manual etc. I spent a day trying to install panel but had thrust reverser problem and going to the forum suggestions included deleting the fsuipc cfg file-come on everything else works ok.The flaps do not work from joystick, the thrust reversers only work until I load the panel,when I load the panel even the default 737-400 thrust reversers do not work.If I install the boeing panel update by richard prost things improve but not a lot.I am not inexperienced in installing new aircraft but this is a nightmare.If anybody has a working panel and could publish the cfg file it woould be appreciated.

cujo:have you removed the FSUIPC cfg as suggested (http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=253&topic_id=2013&mesg_id=2013&page=)? FSUIPC will just build another.this can work as your current FSUIPC cfg may be corrupt and/or have a setting that conflicts with the tinmouse.--

I did the full install to 1.23A. I am not going to muck about with 3rd party software to get this panel working. All other freeware and payware works fine and I do not want to upset the status quo.What I am saying is that I should not have to go through this route to get it working, I know it is freeware but so is, for example, project fokker.I believe that no software should corrupt existing programs but this panel appears to do exactly that-bad news!

I hope the other 24999 had better luck than me!Don't get me wrong I would love it to work-I had the yeo designs 737-200 in fs2002 which was superb and a brilliant panel but it will not work in fs9.mevans

Well I'm still using it, it's without doubt one of the all time best. All the help is in the forum. I'm using it with the new Civa 1.50 which makes it even more enjoyable. Only yesterday I took a trip from Paris to Carcassone with it.John

The most common cause of the TR problem mentioned is not having the #2 hydraulic system powered, either because the pumps are not switched on, or because there's no source of electrical power on the AC transfer bus. And in a real B732 the TR would not work in that configuration, either.The panel writes control commands to FSUIPC that affect thrust reverser operation based on hydraulic system state. If you have the TinMouse loaded with one or both hydraulic systems unpowered, then switch to another aircraft, I guess it's possible that the control that locks out the TR might remain active in another model until FS is restarted. So make sure you don't have the TinMouse loading at FS startup, for example, because it is your default aircraft or was saved as the last flight in FS. FSUIPC 3.7 or greater is required for the TinMouse II, as well as FSSound. For those who don't care to muck about with installing a couple .dll files and configuring FSUIPC, I suggest you go fly something else.The nonstandard setup enables the sim to operate with much higher system fidelity than most...even some otherwise very good payware add-ons. Moving the flap or spoiler handle with no hydraulic power or with the flight control shutoff switches shut off will not result in the flaps/spoilers moving or a stuck handle, as with most models.For those that don't appreciate those fine points, or those who haven't the patience to sit down and configure things before they declare that they shouldn't have to go to any trouble to use the freely-donated work of others, I suggest you uninstall the software and get your money back, or better still, take the publicly available original TinMouse source code and a few thousand hours of your time and do better with it yourself.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VSantiago de Chile

I've been using the Tinmouse II since it was released, and I agree that it's one of the deepest simulations of an airliner yet conceived for MSFS, payware or otherwise. By following the instructions in the readme (and in the dedicated Avsim forum), I've been able to successfully map the thrust reversers, speed brakes, spoilers, and flaps to my CH Yoke, with no ill consequences for my other add-ons. If one is willing to spend some time setting it up, the payoff is more than worth the effort. John G.

The answer was the panel loads with the generators disconnected!Connect generators, switch on back up hydraulics, all ok.Now I can really get involved with this machine.

I have to say the TinMouse is one of the most exciting and fresh addon planes I've seen in a while. It easily holds it's own against all the big payware planes. It's one of my favorites. There are some things that are "different." However, once you find out why it was done that way you'll appreciate what it gives you.
