August 26, 200718 yr Lawrie is to be congratulated for using some artistic licence and creating an airport on Stewart Island. However, for those who want it to be 'as real as it gets' the buildings will have to be excluded as there are none on the airstrip. Stewart Island Flights will get you over there in about 20 mins from Invercargill Airport in a Britten Norman Islander and a great flight it is, especially in the co-pilot seat. You may even see whales in Foveaux Strait.Marcel Kuhnt's Britten Norman BN-2 Islanders are excellent freeware aircraft and make the sim flight even better.:-wave
