Recommended Posts

Guest mfabrie

Hi,I've downloaded the TU-134 of SCS. When I want to fly with it, the engines stop immediatly. When using CTRL + E the engines won't start, the only try to start. What can I do about it?greetings

HiI don't know the answer to your question, but know where you'll get friendly help. Go to: http://www.protu-154.com/forum/ This is the Project Tupolev forum and these guys know everything. This plane is not a Ctrl + E type of plane - it's very realistic. Have fun with the navigation system :-)Best regards!

Have fun with the navigation systemI double Gavin's words. It's like PTU-154, SD Yak-40 or RFP 747-200.If you're the CTRL+E type pilot, you won't like this bird. ;)And there is no way round, no shortcuts. All the fun lies in its complexity. Although it may not be everyone's fun indeed.Sometimes I also board a modern FMC-equipped bird to relax.:-hah Best regards,Rafal

Hi,take a look here (A quick Guide):http://www.protu-154.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3571and here (Panel guide with an engine start on last page):http://ubsoft.org/tu134_panel.pdfand here (quick and dirty NAS-1 navigation):http://www.protu-154.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4091If you wish to learn more about NAS-1 and RSBN navigation I strongly suggest to download Samdim design AN-24 which has extensive English documentation and you also get RoutePlanner.xls mentioned in the navigation guidehttp://samdimdesign.free.fr/While being there, download the Tu-124 which has good manual. There you can fill in the missing instruments that are not covered in Tu-134 guides. More or less :)Took me some days to get through all the materials, but man, I am having fun now! Flying in the East is rewarding and their navigation methods fascinating. Not to mention excellent freeware aircraft and scenery. Enjoy! :)Regards,Jure

Its very easy to make this a "CTRL+E" plane by tweaking the panel.cfg. Now I can use stock autopilot, GPS-navigation and CTRL+E with no problems. This is a brilliant add-on with a lot of work done on modelling the systems. However I am a causal simmer and so I made this plane a TU-134Easy for myself http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/grinser/...-smiley-028.gifRafal put it well:-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------All the fun lies in its complexity. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------What's the point?-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Just in case the OP is a casual-simmer & wanted to know if operating this machine could be made easier by using default procedures/gauges (GPS,autopilot etc.). But yes....I knew I was going to get that question! (hee hee)I have said I am a *casual* simmer :) I have done these tweaks for myself for my enjoyment.Infact I bought the PMDG 737NG series just for the visual model, I use them with panels downloaded from Avsim. (I got howls of disbelief from my simmer mates when I told em that hahaa!)This is the beauty of FS9 in full effect yes? Those who crave realism = happyThose who sit kinda in the middle = happyThose who just want to jump in and fly = happy:)
