Does anybody know the climb-cruise-decent in lbs per hour for this aircraft? I tryed fsnav forum and noone can help me. Is there a calculater that could do this fror me? I have fsbuild. I have to install these aircraft (EMB120 as well) into fsbuild as they are not in program and I need fuel burn. Can/is there someone that can help me?:)

all depends on weight, speed, and cruise-level.check this source -http://www.eurocontrol.int/eec/public/stan...cuments_36.htmlsearch for 'CRJ1' in the PDF. the second 'hit' will be a table of performance numbers based on weights, altitude with an assumed climb/cruise/descent profile.be sure to convert from kg/min to lbs/hr.--

tim:>Which pdf file do I go into?look for this -Aircraft Performance Summary Tables for the Base of Aircraft Data (BADA) >What do you mean by the "second Hit?"using the PDF search function, first 'hit' will be CRJ1 in the index; second will be the CRJ1 performance table.--

>tim:>>>Is mass levels = gross weight?>>correct>>>>how do I get up the emb120>>some PDF and search for E120.>>>--Scoob.Gooday sir:) I don't know what's going on. This a.m. I wanted to print out the 2 charts for e120 & crj1 & all that comes up is the aircraft (highlighted) in a long list of other aircraft. What am I doing wrong? If I can get the crj1 fuel chart up again I just hv a few more questions if you don't mind. I really appreciate the help your giving me. I've been trying for months to find out where to get this data and I am very happy. Thanks in advance:)

What does bada stand for. Can you give me a formula to convert KG/Min to LBS/HR? I think theres 2.2 lbs in a KG? So, if I'm climbing at 200 fpm to altitude FL240 that wld be 12 minutes of climb? so 12 X 2.2 = 264 LBS x 5 = 1260 LBS Per hr? Am I on track?

tim/willow:>What does bada stand for. BASE OF AIRCRAFT DATA (BADA)>Am I on track?for fuel flow per hour from the eurocontrol charts -value x 2.2 (kg to lbs) x 60 (to convert FF/min to FF/hr) example: the chart says that an CRJ climbing is buring 33.6 kg/min when passing 18000'.33.6 x 2.2 = 73.92 (round to 74).74 x 60 = 4440 lb/h <-- this is what the FF gauge will show at FL180you need to decide what the average FF rate you will use to represent for the climb. the same 'average' will need to be computted for FF rate when the aircraft is in cruise.--

DIt gets pretty deep. I'll worry about KIAS Only for flight sim. I want the fuel figures for aircraft E120 & CRJ1. I could pro-rate fuel burn From BADA.Would I have to pro-rate up to max alt of 41000 ft for the crj? And Wld programs recognize the proper fuel burn if I flew at lower altitudes? I want these figures for FSNAVIGATOR & FSBUILD. Are you aware of these programs? I don't know if you can get into the fsbuild forum. If you can or even would have a look at my msge to Ernie (earlier on) that's the info I need. I sent him another msge yesterday but no reply(suppose he's frustrated with me. What I trying to do is install the CRJ1 & E120 into FSBUILD And looking for help. I bought fsbuild because I also bought radar contact. By the way D.......I live 200 miles south of Calgary ,Alberta And 100 miles north of Montana. I love Vancouver country and I always wanted to go see Seattle On my motorcycle but the years went by to fast being I'm 60 now and retired. I hope I did not offend you by telling you all this. Tim

>I live 200 miles south of Calgary ,Alberta i've flown in to calgary twice in real world ... not to visit, just a transit stop as part of a longer flight (canada 3000 A330 from vancouver to galsgow in 2000). loved the long taxi because the terminal is at the north end of 34/16>...FSNAVIGATOR & FSBUILD. Are you aware of these programs?both of these utilities have a long history with FS and i'm aware of them. neither provide me a 'service' i've ever had interest. as a result i've never purchased/used either.>Would I have to pro-rate up to max alt of 41000 ft for the crj? i do things simply (as FS is a game/simulation) and no one will die because of my bad planning.my system -*fly the aircraft at 1/2 fuel load and record it's fuel flow at cruise altitudes.*using these numbers make an average fuel burn and add 10%*when making a flightplan (i fly USA mainly so use flightaware.com to collect routings) i use the expected flight time and add another hour. my practice is to round up to the next 'whole' hour.*hours X average fuel burn/hr = fuel load.*if i'm going to fly into situations with a strong headwind and/or an airport with long taxi times (ex, KDEN) i'll add a bit more fuel.for the feelthere CRJ-200 my fuel burn number is 3500 lb/h. as most CRJ flight are 1 hour in length my usual fuel load is 7000 lbs.i find the above system work fine 95% of the time.--edit: typo--
