European flight plans

Recommended Posts

I need a change of scenery, so I'm off to Europe for awhile. Could anyone suggest a good source of real world routes between European destinations. Something along the lines of "Simroutes" or "Flight aware"Thanks in advance.Dave FisherCYYZP4 Prescott 3.2e 478p 800mhz 1mg CPUP4P800SE Asus Motherboard2.5 gig PC3200 DDR RAM 400MHZGeForce 7600GT/512 OC'dMaxtor 80 Gig ATA 133 HD x2WDC WD800 80 Gig HDAntec 500watt true powerSharp 19 inch LCD MonitorSaitek AV8R-01 Joystickhttp://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannersupporter.jpg

Thank's guys these will come in handy. I'm trying to find a R/W planner for international flights to/from N. America. I find "Flightaware" leaves too many gaps in the flight plan and sometimes they are incomplete and "Simroutes" only has N. Americain data.Dave FisherCYYZP4 Prescott 3.2e 478p 800mhz 1mg CPUP4P800SE Asus Motherboard2.5 gig PC3200 DDR RAM 400MHZGeForce 7600GT/512 OC'dMaxtor 80 Gig ATA 133 HD x2WDC WD800 80 Gig HDAntec 500watt true powerSharp 19 inch LCD MonitorSaitek AV8R-01 Joystickhttp://fs2crew.com/linepilot.jpg

When planning a flight I go to either Fightaware or simroutes for flights in or originating from N. America. I'll then plot out the flight on FSNav and export it to FS9 so Active Sky and Radar Contact know where I'm going. I usualy fly aircraft equipt with FMC's so I like to load the route manualy. I find it more realistic than just d/ling the route. That way the RTE page isn't clogged up by all the fixes that make up an airway segment. Also by using the onboard data for SID/STARS you get the correct alt. restrictions, etc. and its easier to change Sid/Stars in flight.Hope that helped.Dave FisherCYYZP4 Prescott 3.2e 478p 800mhz 1mg CPUP4P800SE Asus Motherboard2.5 gig PC3200 DDR RAM 400MHZGeForce 7600GT/512 OC'dMaxtor 80 Gig ATA 133 HD x2WDC WD800 80 Gig HDAntec 500watt true powerSharp 19 inch LCD MonitorSaitek AV8R-01 Joystickhttp://fs2crew.com/linepilot.jpg
