how are they see me on FS9 and VATSIM

When I'm flying in VATSIM I use the FS9 LVLD 767 with KLM livery but a friend of my was monitoring my actions as a observer and told me that I was flying a default Learjet (????)We are both using FS9 with FSInn/FSCopilot and I see other users with a LVLD767 all the time with the VARIG livery. I don't believe that I am the only one with a KLM livery so where am I going wrong with the settings...Happy landings...

In that case the sim will substitute one of the default aircraft as your friend found out. It has to do with the title= line in the aircraft.cfg. He needs to have an aircraft installed titled identically to your KLM 767 in the [fltsim.X] section in order to see it. The aircraft itself doesn't matter, he could rename the J3 Cub and the sim would call up the Cub to represent your KLM 767.Substituting an AI model (with LODs) by matching titles is a good way to reduce the framerate hit in multiplayer with large groups flying complex aircraft.Jim
