It sounds like to me he's trying to take a screenie (not a photo) of an error message he's getting in FS?I'm not sure why we'd want that in the formal screenshots forum.Maybe I read this thread wrong, but that's what it sounds like to me.

Tim,You've got the cart ahead of the horse, I think. You need a few things first.1. A tool to take screenshots with found here: http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=117682. A tool to resize them with such as photoshop elements or paintshop pro....or some other application that probably came free with your PC. Google is your friend here also. After that here's a primer on Avsim's rules on sizes, etc., which you should read:http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=117683. 'staggerwing'<--Avsim screenshots forum mod can probably chime in here and clarify whether or not screenshots of error messages or similar can be posted outside of the screenshots forum...I think it should be ok though.Hope that helps.

Yes,It's a 3rd party application which happens to reside in this file library and probably others which can be used to take screenies of just about anything you want. It saves them in another folder...then you just open those pics (very large usually) whith your photoshop or equivalent...then resize the physical dimensions and save in .jpg format and then slide the 'quality' which adjust the actual file size....then you can upload those here at Avsim if they meet the rules.:-)

Huh? If you mean flight deck solutions, no, I just love their stuff, if you're talking about the title of my blog, that's all that is.Your questions are really starting to sound a bit strange now and hard to decifer.Avsim is the largest 'online news outlet' and community for flight sim in general followed by simflight.com and flightsim.com; if that's what you mean.Take some time and have a look around the FS world.:-)

Yes, as long as they are within avsim size rules and they are directly associated with the problem at hand. Any other shots should go in the screen shot forum.Tim...lets try this again :-)If this is a FILE name you are trying to get people to see then just type it here in text and people can know what it is and tell you if they have it on their systems too.Lets leave the screen shot thing to another time and get your original problem sorted, okay ?What's the file name you don't know about ?

Okay, that is a video about Airbus in sim... if you didn't download it on purpose, or it didn't come with an aircraft you bought, then you can delete it.Or watch it and then keep it or delete it.If you don't know where it's at on your hard drive, do a search for it with Windows Explorer and then you can highlight it and delete, or double click on it and view it. I view .RAM files with "Real Player" but other players may work also.
