Aircraft that simulate a fuel dump?

Recommended Posts

Can anyone tell me off the top of their head which heavies out there can simulate a fuel dump before landing? I'm sure there is a technical term for that but I call it the vapor trails on final? Can be payware or freeware.thx,

PSS 777 can dump fuel, with fuel spray effect from nozzles as well. I'm sure there are others but that one I remember off the top. regards,Mark

PMDG 747 can dump fuel, but don't remember if it actually has the visual effect.... Only used it once during a FS2Crew air rage situation to return to Tokyo..Dreamfleet 727 has the switches, haven't tried them so I don't know if they do dump the fuel and/or have the visual effect... Given that everything else is simulated correctly (or close to it), I'd imagine that the fuel dump works...RFP 747-200 should dump fuel too, again I dunno about the visual effect...These might not have the visual spray effect, but at least it'll dump some of the weight if you need to make an emergency landing before MLW is reached... :(

Hello:There was an addon Fuelstat gauge for FS2000 that could be installed in any aircraft panel that had the fuel dump provisions. I don't believe it worked in later versions but might be worth a peek. I believe the title is FUELSTATUSCG but am not sure.Regards:RTH

Both the Dream Fleet 727 and the Level-D 767 give an excellent visual of the fuel dump.Tom
