RFP 747-200

Yep, The RFP has gone freeware I thin a few months back.


 Intel I7 12700KF / 32 GB Ram-3600mhz / Windows 11 - 64 bit / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060TI / 32" Acer Monitor, Honeycomb alpha/bravo, CH rudder pedals, Tobii 5, Buttkicker, Logitech radio panel.

RFP-200 is one of the few airliners that you can set the autopilot to hold altitude. You can then fly left and right with the yoke or joystick. You can't do that in some other airliners. Not sure about PMDG. I am not talking about the autopilot flying a heading. That is how I fly my craft. I like some control. I also painted out the center post in the main panel for more visibility in the daytime. Doesn't work for the nite panel though.JimCYWG

You are right in that it can be changed but sometimes it makes no difference. I have tried this in other airliners and it did not work.Changing default_bank_mode=0 //disable wingleveler and default_pitch_mode=0 //disable auto pitch hold in the autopilot section in some aircraft.cfg files made no difference.JimCYWG

She is a tough, old fashion bird. Not as nice as the PMDG queen, but a real tough nut to fly and operate.I got mine a couple years back at Just flight for $20 and the honking manual that came with it was (as stated by another poster) worth the dough alone.I would love to get my hands on the VIP version......
