AI problem/need to know

Recommended Posts

Guest crotiusf16

Good day simmers from all over the world. I have a lot of old AI packages. Will it work if the schedules were for 2006 etc? Can you reschedule them? What do you use for this? Thanking you in advance.Corrie

Flight Simulator schedules are for a one week period. Year or month do not matter. If you use older schedules you can have airlines flying to airports they no longer serve, and not flying to airports they serve now.Though that might be your purpose - I have Eastern Airlines and PanAm flying in my AI world most of the time.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a way/program that you can use to fix the dates etc? Corrie

There are no dates in FS AI flight plans.Only seven days Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri & SatThere are some ways to have different AI aircraft / airlines to represent different periods of time. What you do is put the traffic files of airlines from different time periods into different scenery folder structures. That way you can activate them when you want them and deactivate them when you don't want them. Some people have a setup for the 50's propliners in one folder, early jet AI traffic in another folder, and modern AI in another folder. Some people just name the traffic files by some standard and move them in and out of active folders depending on which they want flying.
