9.1 update

Recommended Posts

Hi,I unfortunately had to reset my computer back to factory settings, I installed fs9 and some add ons and then realized I forgot the service pack. I started installing the service pack and it was interrupted by a restart from automatic updates. I came back started the sp install again and it gave me an error saying that the service pack was already installed, i don't see an icon in the fs folder giving me the option to uninstall the sp so I don't think it installed, what should I do? will my add ons be effected by having them installed before installing the sp? If I uninstall fs9 with the remove save files unchecked will I lose my add ons? Thanks

I believe the 9.1 installer checks for the presence of a Flight Simulator 9BACKUP folder to detect whether or not you have the update installed. The backup folder is where all of your old 9.0 modules are stored after installing the 9.1 update. Try moving or deleting the backup folder and see if it will let you reinstall.Jim
