Ok, I know it's pricey but even in today's world of stunning scenery, this four year old package still looks nice.http://secure.simmarket.com/product_info.php?products_id=723I flew to Tokyo last night with the Overland Vol. 3 into Narita. Overland's work is quite nice but only covers a small area around the airport. For me, the visuals into the approach is a large part of the FS experience. Seems Japan got the shaft in FS9.I've been eyeballing this for ages but can't get the guts to fork down $100 for it. Do any of you have this package and can you comment on it, pro and/or con?Thanks.

Scott, this is great thanks.Do you know the difference though between the different files in each section. That is, in the "Tokyo FS2004" folder there's a file "TK2004PG.ZIP(13.8M)" and another "Tokyo Photo.ZIP(31.9M)". Would one be a lower quality version of the other?Thanks again.

Ed, you might get a better response if you try a flightsim forum with more Asian users... thinking something like VATSIM Asia region? Or a JAL Virtual Airlines forum? Just a thought.

As Rob says, TK2004PG.zip contains GMAX objects for both Tokyo and Yokohama, and the two other files contain the photo textures, one for Tokyo and the other for Yokohama.The scenery should work with the Overland series of airports.phil

Thanks to everyone who replied. I see that there's a link to this scenery site at the Overland site as well. I will install Tokyo tonight.While I think life's too short for default scenery :-lol , Japan has a special place. I spent three weeks in Japan at the 1971 World Boy Scout Jamboree. We camped at the foot of Mt. Fuji which included several days in Tokyo before the Jamboree and a few days in Kyoto afterwards. I had my first quarter-pounder with cheese in the Ginza and the trip marked my first time in an airplane. (Technically, my first flight was from Cincinnati to Anchorage as that's where our layover was both coming and going.)To boot, we had a typhoon a couple of days into the Jamboree which required a 2-day evacuation around Japan. I saw my first beach during a pitstop on the first day. Anyway, thus the reason this holds a special place. Would like to go back but it's waaayyy out of the budget. The commericial Japanscnery Vol.1 is a drop in the bucket compared to the airfare...but with this freeware option, I might be able to afford a 4 star hotel! :-jumpy
