Just out of curiosity....What difference does it make ( in FS that is) if an aircraft is Diesel powered or AVGAS powered?I mean, for FS, a prop engine is a prop engine....

It would make a difference if you use the sim as a procedural simulator. There are differences between operating a diesel or a typical AVGAS engine. Also, if modelled correctly, the performance / flight planning aspects are different.

Different engine controls, gauges, performance, panel layout, rangeetc. If your using FS as a training tool, or refresher prior to a check out for instance. Some users prefer to have the specific type of ac that they own or use. Cheers.

Your Website says its not available yet, and is for FSX. Is there an update on the time line for availability. Will it be coded for older sims?
