But the problem is, there is a rudder lock on it...so how am I supposed to turn the aircraft? Why would there be a rudder lock in the first place? This might sound like a n00bish question but I really want to fly this thing but it wont help not knowing how to turn it on the ground.

On airliners like that, the rudder is separate from the steering. So a gust lock should'nt effect that. But maybe check your yaw dampner? That can cause issues with manual rudder movents in some aircraft.

Wow thanks! But how are you supposed to move the nose wheel?

Just use your rudder. The fact that you cannot see the rudder moving does not mean it is not working ;)It is just an effect to create the illusion that one is using nosewheel steering. :-outta

No, i use rudder and it still doesn't move. The thrust keeps it moving forward but the aircraft itself doesn't turn.
