AND, by buying these wonderful effects, it gives developers the incentive to continue developing addons for FS9 as well as FSX!

>AND, by buying these wonderful effects, it gives developers>the incentive to continue developing addons for FS9 as well as>FSX!With all due respect,...but what kind of message is that suposed to be to all dedicated freeware contributors out there. Might it be a good idea to think twice before posting such delicate messages? ;-)If it wasnt for all freeware developers out there,..I wouldnt even want to think about in what stage FS would be today,....probably in a FS98 level. And yes,...I prefer to support freeware work. :-hah

All due respect, yourself, but who said anything against freeware developers? My gosh, where did that come from? All _I_ meant was that payware developers are focusing more and more on releases FOR FSX ONLY and by purchasing the aforementioned software, we are sending a message to commercial developers that it is worth their time and effort to continue to develop for FS9.Sheesh, who doesn't support freeware? :-hah

My gosh, where did that come from?Your post had a slight tone of supporting payware developers IMO. :-hah>All _I_ meant was that payware developers are focusing more>and more on releases FOR FSX ONLY and by purchasing the>aforementioned software, we are sending a message to>commercial developers that it is worth their time and effort>to continue to develop for FS9.That is another thing. And I am confident that the developers now understand that it would be a bad idea to stop the development of FS9 addons. The important thing though is to never let a freeware developer be outshadowed by a payware developer. It is we,...the endusers who have that responsibility ;-)>Sheesh, who doesn't support freeware? :-hahThat is a very interesting question. :-wave

>>Your post had a slight tone of supporting payware developers >>IMO. :-hahWell, I can't tell you how wrong you are. Unless you were looking for an argument, mine was a perfectly innocent statement -- let me guess: you've had this argument here before. :-roll To paraphrase Shakespeare: "Methinks you're a tad paranoid.

>>Not at all, all you have to do is to read your post. It couldnt be more clear.Uh, yeah, OK -- thanks for telling me what I meant. A simple apology for striking out instead of asking me for clarification would have sufficed. Unfortunately I suspect this will never end with you, will it?Oh wait! IT JUST DID!! :-wave
