Excellent!!!!!Works like a charm and greatly appreciated.I am a little surprised at the lack of response to your efforts. I would think there would be a rush for this contribution.Happy flying:RTH

For what it might be worth to anybody, the following are my edits to the fine aircraft.cfg contributed by the originator of this thread. The data is a bit more accurate relative to weights and fuel capacities as per 757 specs. in comparison to the existing 767 data. The MTOW figure of 255,511 lbs does enter with no problems into the FMC setup as well.(WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE)reference_datum_position=0.000000,0.000000,0.000000// DRY OPERATING WEIGHT CONFIGURATIONS Moment Arm in Ft.// Empty : 2/0 Crew: 192000 Lbs +0000 / 0.273// Shorthaul: 2/9 Crew: 196000 Lbs +4000 / 0.306// Longhaul : 2/9 Crew: 197000 Lbs +5000 / 0.127//empty_weight=192000.000000//empty_weight_CG_position=0.273000,0.000000,0.000000//empty_weight=196000.000000//empty_weight_CG_position=0.306000,0.000000,0.000000empty_weight=127954.000000empty_weight_CG_position=0.127000,0.000000,0.000000//empty_weight_CG_position=0.000,0.000000,0.000000// CABIN PASSENGER ZONES Moment Arm in Ft. Does one lose the use of the VC when doing this merger?

Mmm, dunno guys, but may be it would be easier just to buy and use block F/D Capt Sim have recenly released - systems, FMS, flight model... Works perfectly for me.

You will not lose the VC, the gauges are there, the vc and the cabin are there, but you should not use the vc to control the aircraft, because it now will fly using level-d logic and not the captainsim's one.About block f.... Everyone says that is full of bugs. I will not risk my money again waiting for patches and bugs that may never be fixed (Im a 707 customer...)

If you consider the systems that are not simulated as "working perfectly". Please do not say it works perfectly to people. It gives a false impression of the addon and for people to go out and waste their money. I for one would like to see this hobby change for the better and get rid of these companies that continually rip people off.

From the earlier statements by the kind originator of this thread, I doubt it, but I have to tuck my tail between my legs and confess that I am not a 3D VC person at all. I did not even look at it, although there are a world of line items in the panel.cfg relative to it.To each his own and you certainly can give it a try, but that subject is out of my territory.Sorry:RTH

If you have as much faith in CS as you do in LDS, by all means, but that is in the eyes of the beholder (to say nothing of the $$$$).Good luck:RTH

Hello again:Concerning "Can you post this merge in the library?" and "It will be great as you are native english speaker":I don't know whether I could put it in the library in a timely manner or not. It has been at least a couple of years (probably longer) since I put anything into the library, and frankly I have forgotten the routine. In addition, if I remember correctly I think your name would be required possibly along with some other information that I might not have. For your statement on your capability relative to writing English, believe me there is nothing wrong with the way you speak (and write) English. If I could handle your native language (whatever it is) as well as you write English, I would think I had it by the tail. You shame me for my language capability and I envy you very much. Please feel confident toward that end with no apprehension at all.One more item. This morning I discovered that I could not activate flightplans in my FMC for any of the aircraft useing the panel in question, either in FS9 or FSX (Neither the LDS 767's or CS 757's). Since that time I have revised the 757's back to their original configurations, reinstalled the FSX LDS 767, posted my problem in the LDS forum, and run a few errands. This afternoon when I returned, I tried again (FSX LDS 767) she seems to be working ok. Next step, I will try to bring the rest of the birds in question back on line.I doubt very seriously that this has anything at all to do with the 757 modifications and am assuming that it is unique to my system (or to a short between these old ears), however, I am going to try to solve this puzzle, or see it go away on its own as seems to presently be the case before I do anything else.Respectfully:RTH

Have both the CS 757 and LDS 767 working now in both FS9 and FSX.I have no idea what caused the FMC plan activation problems mentioned earlier. Once, in the paused mode I was not able to activate, hit "P" and came out of pause and she worked. I thought, OH NO can it be that simple, and it wasn't. I was able to repeatedly activate in the paused mode after that.In FSX, the FSX LDS panel and aircraft.cfg text was needed in the converted panel for the CS 757 (not the FS9 text). The "semicon" window is needed from the CS 757 panel just like the icon window text was for FS9 in order to not have squirly spot view textures of the aircraft. You also need to copy the other 757 files from the CS 757 panel into your converted LDS 767 panel. My impression was that if you are going to switch from the CS 757 to the LDS 767 or visa versa, one needs to restart the fS, or some data (weight) is retained from the former, which is not compatible with the latter (If that didn't confuse you, I give up). Restarting seems to clear the FMC from the entered data.Looks good to me. This gives the capability of having a fully functioning FMC in the CS 757 equal to the LDS 767 in both FS9 and FSX. However, I do feel it may be wise for this to go through a little trial and testing period (for me anyway).Don't know the real name nor the location of the kind contributor, but his hard work is greatly appreciated. Thanks again!Respectfully:RTH

Hey, This merge is amazing. I did have a few problem though. For some strange reason my fps dopped alot using the VC and wingview option I was getting like 25fps and it was very laggy, even in 2d view. this is my system:Asus 790i stiker II4GB OCZ DDR3 clocked at 1600Q6600 clocked at 3.6ghzNvidia 9800gtx I dont understand why my fps was so low. Any way i changed the VC cockpit so all the gauges are black but the flaps still work. My fps is now back to my stable 61fps. This allows me to keep the wing views i love so much. Copy this if you want to try it. Guest Carl_D

hi i tried this merge and unfortunately once everything was done and i tested it out there was big chunks of black all over the panel and then i noticed there was smilies replacing some of the numbers so could that be causing the problem? Also the smilies are broken so nothing shows up so i was wondering what wa sthe command for that mega shock smilie or something with similar name cause that seems to be replacing the numbers.ThanksCarl
