Opening cargo doors

Recommended Posts

Hey folks,I've got a little issue with opening the cargo doors. When I press SHIFT E, the normal entry door opens, but when trying to press SHIFT E +1, +2, +3 etc., it closes instead of the other doors opening. What setting am I missing? Regards,

Try the "tailhook" key (check the keyboard assignments)...I cant remember what it is...F12 or something!

...plus assign the WINGFOLD command. What opens which doors depends on the model (different codes).I always have the Tailhook and the Wingfold command assigned for my keys (T and D) to try if the Shift+1/2/3 doesn't work.As far as I remember some planes used to have even the Condorde Visor up/down assigned for doors.Best regards,Rafal

Somtimes the timing of the keys is hard to get, for the other doors try this:Hold down SHIFT, tap the "E" key and immediately release both and then tap the 2 key or whatever door you are trying to open.Bud

You may want to check out this........rcbse-10.zip by Rob Barendregt - here in the library. If it is a timing problem, this brilliant gauge will fix it.

I just installed that gauge last night.I'm now getting a transparent screen in the create a flight menu and when I goto the selected airport all the scenery is gone with the aircraft moving.I added the gauge in an aircraft's VC window01 part of the cfg file.Anyone ever had this happen? Thanks.

If you remove the gauge do things go back to normal? The gauge should have no bearing at all on the Create a Fight dialogue etc.My guess is that something else is the root of your problem.

Yeah, it wasn't the gauge. I need to figure out what the heck happened all the sudden. The only thing I did was install and addon a/c (which shouldn't affect FS like that) and the latest DirectX.
