Wilco and Airbus Vol1 and 2

Hello,Time has passed, I just wantedto ask if anything changed with Wilco - there were posts here concerning their customer service, aircraft quality etc.How are the aircraft now with latest patches? I know FPS were terrible when it came out, is it still a huge FPS hog? Shame that there is no money back like with Flight1.ThxKosta

Hi, Word Not Allowed!I 'm flying their latest versions (both volumes).There have been some fixes and updates. However, some important bugs are still there, so no breakthrough anyway.Yes, they are not easy on FPS. I fly merged aircraft (vol.1+ Project Airbus v2, vol.2 + CLS) and the panel takes some frames, no doubt about it. Especially that my system is not top-notch anylonger.Luckily no bug is serious enough for me to make enjoyable flying impossible. If you learn how to live with the remaining ones, flying gets pleasant. It is not PMDG/Level-D league but repeating the fact on end makes no sense since I believe nobody buys it believing it is.I knew what I was buying and don't feel sorry about it; maybe sometimes I'm a bit irritated ;)I hope for another patch though I haven't heard of any cominig up.If anyone knows (Scoob?), please let us know.If you are eager to fly an FMC-equipped airbus and you have some tolerance for bugs, you can go for it. It is by all means flyable. If, however, you are not in a hurry and don't mind timeless waiting, hold on till AirSimmer's or Airliners XP go out (if they do). I own a few FT/Wilco planes and enjoy them alot. Even with the quirks. They are not unflyable or anything like that.With that.Locking the forum was a bad idea. They could have left it open for "un-official" support. That really bugs me and still does.

I bought it a few weeks ago for something to use while I wait for the Airsimmer Airbus release. What a mistake. The Wilco/Feelthere Airbus is still horrible. It robs more framerates than any other addon for me, and its still extremely buggy.I own the Feelthere/Wilco 737 (great addon), and the ERJ145 and Legacy (decent addons), the Airbus is nowhere near to these standards. If anything goes remotely differently from what it expects, it goes haywire. I've had several crashes from it, including some where my entire system restarts suddenly - I've never had this from any other addon and I pretty much have them all.Simply put - DO NOT BUY IT! It's a waste of money on a beta level addon. Be patient and wait for the Airsimmer, it will be worth it I'm sure.

If you re talking about simulation DO NOT BUY wilco serie 1 & 2The same bugs presents in vol 1 are also present in vol 2Nothing has been done.Example : flying long haul with an FMC which doesn't update ETA or FUEL at destination !You can change the winds the route but the fmc doesn't update...I would love to fly airbuses but after purchasing Airbus vol 1 and 2I put them back in the hangar and sticks with PMDG 744 and 737 or leve-D 767 which are very good products especially when associated with FS2CREW

The FSC2Crew on the Wilco 320 is actually the best one yet. When you get a flight and none of the "Wilcobugs"TM kick in it can be a very good experience! I've had a few nice landings and rolled out and thought - that was cool.

Yeah. Only real showstopper for me would be those darn bugs...nothing would bug me more than a CTD on landing (I heard about many connected to Wilco...).

This is a known bug. A solution seems to be deleting the fmgc file from the FeelThere folder after updating navdata.Apart from that I've had no CTDs not only on finals but at all.Best regards,Rafal
