Hello AllI am flying the POSKY 757 V4 (TEST FLIGHT)i am at FL320(32000 ft) i am cruising at Mach 80 (using Werner Schott guide)i am not overweight etc wind zero.My N1 reading is 84-86% does that figure seem correct to you.feels strained to me.cheers AndyPS i am using the latest AIR file and CFG for this aircraft.

>Are you in a headwind?HelloThanks for at least replying, beginning to think i had offended the forum somehow. The wind was registering zero. These N1 settings seem to be about the same for the Posky 767 also.I am going to try out the 757 again tonight with ASKY weather this time.cheers Andy

Andy, those N1 readings are well within the ballpark for cruise in a 757. Remember, 84% N1 at sea level and 84% N1 at FL350 produce different amounts of thrust due to the thinner air at FL350 vs sea level. N1 can even be higher depending on your atmospheric readings at cruising altitude. You don't begin to put strain on the engines until you push them past their maximum rated N1 speed (above 100%). Otherwise the engines can tool around all day long at anything under that.
