Horizon Flight Simulator 2004 Strange

Hi,I have a Nvidia 7300SE (low end card by the way) and do not have this problem. Therefore, I suggest:- check if you have the latest drivers installed;- check if your weather settings are normal (say visibility 40m);- check if you have display options as follows: hardware rendering options render to texture: checked transform and lighting: checked mip mapping quality 4 and scenery: every slider to the extreme right depending on your cpu.Roby

Near as I can tell, searching the forum, this is an nVidia problem. I run the latest drivers and no setting that I've found (yet) will get rid of it under all circumstances. Oddly enough, the older drivers didn't have the problem.DJ

Hi Rodrigo,As I have more or less the same graphics card as you do, there must be a way to overcome this quirk.Have you checked the box 'dawn/dusk texture blending' in your display settings? Have you checked your visibility settings? Do you use driver version 175.16? Are you on Vista? In that case your fs9 should not be installed under program files.Cannot come up with more ideas at the moment.Good luck,Roby
