Modifying keyboard commands

Recommended Posts

Guest donw

There seem to be many control functions that can only be accessed using the mouse, such as the Nav Lights switch. The keyboard command list doesn't appear to have a command for it. Can such a command be added to the fs9.cfg file? Also in the fs9.cfg file, what do the numbers mean, such as the "76,10" in LANDING_LIGHTS_TOGGLE=76,10 ?Thank y'all

If you have the FSUIPC program (free or registered) it comes with a document named FSUIPC for Advanced Users.pdf which goes into depth on this subject.Briefly tho, the first number is an "index" number for the key which is used for that particular command. The second number is the "state" of the key - plain, shifted, Alt + Shift or CTRL + shift. The basic "states" are as follows: 8 - plain key only 9 - SHIFT + key10 - CNTRL + key11 - SHIFT + CNTRL + keyIn your example 76 is the L key and 10 means that the L key is used with CTRLHere is another example:Example: RELOAD_PANELS=82,1182 is the key R so this command is triggerred by CTRL+SHIFT+RIt is a fascinating subject and the pdf file will be very helpful. It lists all of the commands which can potentially be assigned a key combination as well as all of the keys which can potentially be used.If for some reason you do not have the FSUIPC program, you can get it here:http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.htmlHope this helps.
