Solved Constant scenery refresh issue

Recommended Posts

Guest fisherm53

In the last few months I have found myself having to constantly refresh my scenery in the course of a flight. I would leave an aiport with the scenery looking as it should an within a couple of minutes, it would look blurry. If I was at an airport, the airplanes would have no textures. I would manually refresh and everything would be look ok for a couple of minutes than I would have to refresh again.I tried a different video card but had the same results. What fixed it was uninstalling Ground Environment Pro. Probably the installation just got corrupted. To be clear, I own serveral Flight1 products and enjoy all of them so I not saying it was the software itself. After I uninstalled it and open FS2004 again, I did not have to refresh a single time throughout two separate flights.Just for the record my system is:Dell 4600 Dimension Pentium 4 - 2.8GHZ proc.1 GB Ram73GB Raptor 10000 RPM driveVisiontek Radeon 1300C 400mhz factory OC'd to 512mhz AGP cardFS Genesis payware landclass and Western Hemisphere North 153m Terrain sceneryHope this helpsMike in Arlington
