How to delete FMGC entries

Recommended Posts

Re. Wilco Airbus 320. This is a dumb question but I've made a hash of entering data. How the heck do I cancel it all and start again?

Ok, I will try that. Thanks. But there must be a way of cancelling input using the FMC itself. It is probably generic with other FMCs. BTW, I have pored over the FeelThere manual but can find no info on this. The same goes for the PMDG 737 FMC - I can find nothing in the manual about how to delete a flight plan and start again.

To delete a file plan in the PMDG FMC go to FS9/PMDG/FLIGHTPLANS, in this folder there .rte files, delete them as you wish.If you want to reset your FMC during preflight or in a similar situation go to the route page and delete origin and destination airports.regards

In the real thing you simply enter a new airport pair (EGLL/EHAM for example) in 1R on the INIT page.Don't know if it works in the Wilco version though.Hope this helps,Ian

Thanks, everyone, very much. Now I can re-enter a plan when I make a mistake without having to shut down and delete the .rte file. It's amazing that this is not mentioned in the ninety-nine page Wilco manual. And not, I think, in the PGMD manual either.
