Recommended Posts

Guest herokidm1

I a just got the wilco a380. i went to got into the sky and tried to turn on the auto pilot. The plane did not follow the nav. I wanted to know how to do the automatic flight. like the default 2004 aircraft where you press nav hold. I did insert a flight plane into the Flight managment computer but it still didnt follow the flight plan. I wanted to know how to turn on the nav holdThanks =)

Sometimes it helps to read the manual. Despite the fact that it's a Wilco product, they must have provided this at least.Menno

Hi,After engaging autopilot, engage HDG, you will be in HDG mode, follow the vectors given by ATC and then when instructed to maintain own navigation press the HDG knob itself (actually you're pulling it). Digits will be replaced by "---o". You can do the same thing with speed, your climb and cruise speed will be the ones entered in the FMC.The Wilco 380 has a simple but helpful manual though, give it a look, you'll fing everything you need to fly it.happy landings
