Engine Revs

Recommended Posts

Hello, I have a Dash8 and it seems the Revs are a bit high while stationary and taxing, how can or what can i change in the CFG or Air file to slow them down a fraction, my controller throttle is ok. Thanks,

Not sure, but I've read that the turboprop capability in FS is modeled on the P&W PT-6A. On this engine it seems that the "condition" lever can control the ground idle engine rpms, and this is how it works on the default PT-6A aircraft. If your Dash8 has a condition lever can you put it in "low idle" or otherwise close to shutoff? That works on the Beech KingAir for example.scott s..
