PMDG 747-400 for FS2004 memory issue

HelloI have 737PIC, Level-D 767 and now PMDG 747, well, the PMDG keeps clocking up memory useage and no doubt if I fly for a few hours it might all run out, whcy is this and is there a solution?It starts at around 330k, with other planes it stays around that figure, with PMDG it hits 600k within 30 mins.I have MCE 2005I have just installed KIS 2009, just upgraded from 7, I don't think its the virus scanner as it only affects PMDG.krishan

A correction!!The memory jumps to just over 600k only with the use of PMDG 747, with default or other add-on planes its around 330k, so it may just be a normal factor with this s/w, there is no increasing memory usage, so problem as orginally stated does not exist. system2.13G E64007900GTX2G Mem1440x900 LCDMCE 2005 OSregardskrishan

Ok... so are you saying you no longer have memory issues? Because Out Of Memory (OOM) errors have nothing to do with actual memory, more like virtual memory; it's very long and involved, but the just of it is that even if you're not using your full virtual memory the system puts aside 'blocks' of memory in huge chunks, and these block can sometimes exceed what XP was originally designed for. The 3G switch allows it to go over this.At least this is what I understand, but you can read up on it yourself with the links provided. Apologies if I misunderstand your problem...- danielp.s. I had terrible problems with the PMDG 747 and complex airports like Aerosoft Heathrow, until I installed this switch (OOM error every time!)
