Must Have Freeware Addons.....

Recommended Posts

Hello All,Ok, I searched the Avsim forums for a topic similar to this but did not find one that fit the bill, so to say. I have been getting back into Flight Simming again, I took a break after beta testing FSX completed. For personal reasons I am still with FS9, and very happy with it.If you are willing, how about compiling a list of knock-out freeware files that you use, enjoy, and still say WOW, each and every time you use it. Bear has done quite a few lists of his favorites, I am still trying to go down the list and see what I like.I'll start us off here with just a few of my ultimate freeware favorites with links, I'll start a Payware list later when I start looking through those files on my HD:Aircraft:[a href=http://www.flightsimonline.com/Dash74/" target="_blank]Milton Shupe Dash-7[/a][br][a href=http://www.flightsimonline.com/commander/" target="_blank]Milton Shupe Aero Commanders[/a][br][a href=http://www.flightsimonline.com/howard500/" target="_blank]Milton Shupe Howard 500[/a][br][a href=http://www.flightsimonline.com/d18s/" target="_blank]Milton Shupe Beechcraft D18S[/a]More scenery and aircraft to come![hr width=100%" size=1 color="black]http://forefrontgrp.com/MyLogo2.JPGJason | General Aviation FanVisit my Blog:http://abwain.spaces.live.com/

Jason,I really like the airports done by Mach-1 Design Group. They're all very well done with lots of detail. If I had to pick freeware for the "WOW!", I would pick FlyTampa's KBOS done by George Grimshaw, 9Dragons' Kai Tak, Holger's Glacier Bay and Victoria+, and Don Grovestine's CYYJ to go with the Victoria scenery. For aircraft, there are a bunch of good ones. Planes created by Mikko Maliniemi, Rick Piper, Steve Grant, Bill Lyons, and Milton Shupe are the ones that I use most often .Regards,Jeff

A good example being my inability to find the very post I was referring to ;-) I'm sure someone'll find it sooner or later. It's full of good stuff.
