I am at a loss as to why this works for me, and Jim Robinson, and not you.Might be, though I think the difference is in how that joystick talks to the PC, not what it is saying.My last thought would be, is this aircraft specific? Are you testing with a default aircraft?I can't imagine it should matter, but I am out of ideas.regards,Joe

I tried different aircraft, but to no avail. I thank you for your efforts over the past few days :-)

Problem solved! I didn't have FSUIPC installed. The joystick assignment worked once I installed FSUIPC. It even works with the unregistered version!
