CRJ-700 panel

What are you guys using for a CRJ-700 panel with the new Posky CRJ-700? My priorities are accurate guages and overall panel layout. I'm not big into virtual cockpits. The FSX panel is spot on but there doesn't seem to be a FS9 panel that fits the bill. Any suggestions?

I use a freeware one by Hector Molina that's quite good, although not as detailed as the Sky-Decks one. Ernie Alston has a retrofit cfg file for Hector's panel with his payware ISG gauges and FMC which may be seen here:http://isgsim.com/?page=panel_library⊂=retro_posky_crj200John G.

Wow...that looks pretty darn close to the real thing. It actually looks exactly like the CRJ-200 panel. The only difference in this and the real CRJ-700 seems to be the flaps display (no slats). I see that they have a package with both the CRJ and 737NG panels for $19.95. Does the 737NG panel work well with the POSKY 737NG model?Thanks for the feedback.Markus

I only own the CRJ panel, but I see no reason why the SkyDeck 737 panel wouldn't work with the POSKY 737. A cursory review of SkyDeck's forum tells me that some customers are using the panel with the POSKY offering. Dave Vega

II though I read that theer was a problem with the skydecks and the crj700. Someone was complaining in the POSKY and Skydecks forum that the nose gear was affected by the panel (I know this sounds strange).Has it been working well?

One problem with every panel I have found is that none of them have cockpit interior views (not even the sky decks panel) and the crj700 does not have a vc. Does anyone know of a crj panel with cockpit interior views?

You may receive more detailed answers, but basically, a virtual cockpit is part of the airplane and not part of a 2-D panel. So, the airplane you have has to already include a virtual cockpit for one to see. As of now, the only CRJs I'm aware with virtual cockpits are the ones distributed by Wilco Publishing. The POSKY 200 and 900 have vc's but the 700 does not. I believe person that designed the 900 and 200 left the group before he could finish the 700 taking the files with him. That is why every panel made lacks the cockpit interior views. If I could find a set I would add them to the sky deck panel.

If I>could find a set I would add them to the sky deck panel.Yeah, but you didn't ask if there was a CRJ700 with cockpit interiors, you only asked of there was a 'crj panel' with cockpit interiors (ie VC).So then at the moment the only current option for FS9 is the Wilco CRJ product, if you really must have such a thing with a CRJ700.Your other non-FS9 option is of course the default FSX CRJ.Regards.Ernie.

Sorry I wasn't specific enough.This was one of the many reason I gave up on FSX. With the new camera system interior views became obsolete and all aircraft must have to have interior views.The reason that I really like them is that I can't fly if I can only look straight ahead. Taxiing is even more difficult. Of course, I can still look to the right but I loose my point of reference if I am in the air. It fells like I am floating through the sky rather than flying an aircraft.I know we lived without them for many years but it really kills the immersion factor for me.
