ActiveCamera or Walk and Follow Work in Windowed Mode?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever been able to make the advanced exterior camera angle features of ActiveCamera or Walk and Follow work in windowed mode?I've owned AC for a couple of years and it's useless with milti-monitors run windowed, so I just bought W+F the other day and I'm finding the same limitation. No where on the website does it mention that W+F only works in full screen mode, and truthfully, I didn't even consider that that might be a limitation before hitting the 'Buy Now' button (I was more concerned about just getting a reg. code on a timely basis). I'm afraind I may not have considered some tweak or am missing something. Any suggestions? Anybody? Thanks in advance.

Hi Chuck,Don't have any suggestions for you - but I have used W&F on two computers in windowed mode and it works fine. How do you configure your throttles/yoke? There was a time when my throttle inputs were being intercepted by W&F and causing the same rolling you described.Cheers,Ian

Hi, Ian.I use FSUIPC to control them, but that's not the only issue. when I press the asterisk key { * } my center monitor (View 00) switches to Spot as it should but it's like the view point is on the top of the plane, pointing left rear. When I try to move the POV using the arrow keys the only thing that moves is the ground under the taxiway/runway. Nothing else. I've also tried unzooming and zooming with the plus and minus keys just in case I'm zoomed in too far, but with no joy.
