I would like to delete the overspeed warning sound in FS2004. Does anyone know the name of this sound file please?

>I would like to delete the overspeed warning sound in FS2004.> Does anyone know the name of this sound file please?I was not aware there is such a sound - unless it is built into some third party (not default) aircraft. With most aircraft I fly I only see the red warning message on the screen and that can be easily removed if so desired. Can you tell us what aircraft you hear this with?

>I would like to delete the overspeed warning sound in FS2004.> Does anyone know the name of this sound file please?i suggest you do a forum and/or yahoo/google search to learn the difference between indicated airspeed and true/actual airspeed (IAS v. TAS). you get an overspeed warning because you are about to/have damaged the aircraft by flying to fast.--

I understand what the overspeed warning is all about however I want to remove the sound file and just rely on the visual warning. I am using the Citation X.

I am using the Citation X.Hi,Deleting (sound) files may have unwanted side effects (like crashing FS).You'd better create an 'empty' sound file (i.e. volume 0) and replace the one you would like to get rid of.You can create an empty sound file with the default Windows sound file recorder.P.S. If you are refering to the Eaglesoft CX, the sound files most likely are in the following directory:D:FS2004SoundESDG

Location: Vleuten, The Netherlands, 15.7dme EHAM
