ERJ Panel with Vista... Wilco and Grabowski don't work

After reading somewhere in Feelthere forums, that the Wilco E145 panel is not supported for use in FS2004 with Vista as the OS, I decided to install Bill Grabowski's ERJ panel in Project Opensky's model. The thing is that the sim's performance goes awfully down (from stable 30 FPS down to 10, 15 if I remove the yoke). No other plane has presented me any performance problem in my laptop.These are my specs:Dell Inspiron 1420 laptopCore 2 Duo T5750 2 GHz CPU3 GB RAMNvidia 8400M GS videoWindows Vista Home Premium SP1 (with desktop composition off)No performance problem with any other aircraft, like PMDG 737, Level-D 767, Wilco E170/190 and PSS 757. Well, I found a workaround... but I don't like it so much. I realized that I had the Vista power management settings in Economy, so I can fly and my laptop stays cool. If I set it in Balanced (I don't know if those are the right names in English), my problem seems to be cured... but my laptop will heat up a little then. Something is not OK with this panel, but at least it flies.Best regards from Colombia,Luis Miguel

Something is not OK with this panel,>That's a little unfair. I've used that panel in FS2000 (for which it was originally designed) FS2002 and FS9 without any problems at all. Perhaps Vista is just one step too far for it.

I also think the problem is Vista. I tried the same panel/sound/model combo in a Windows XP computer, and I got better performance. This are its specs:Dell Optiplex GX280Intel Pentium 4 2.8GHz HT1.25 GB RAMIntel 915 integrated videoWindows XP SP2A lot less horsepower than in my laptop, but the panel runs a lot better in the desktop (I can keep the 30 FPS, thing I couldn't do in Vista at a default airport). I don't know why, but installed nHancer and the problem disappeared :-hmmm. Now I can fly with Grabowski's excellent ERJ panel with Vista's power settings at Economy and keep my 30 FPS cap :D.Problem solved... but still I don't know what did nHancer to my laptop.Best regards from Colombia,Luis Miguel
