Need chart of Firebag / Fort MacKay (CFG6) in Alberta

Recommended Posts

I am trying to create an AFCAD for Firebag Aerodrome, Fort MacKay in Alberta (Airport code = CFG6). However it is hard to find any information about it. Would be great if someone could send me a chart of it from "Canada Flight Supplement" or something similar. It is used by Suncor Energy Inc. I have got the basic information like coordinates, length and width. However I need information about the layout of taxiways and parking area. Also information about light system and radio frecuencies would be great. Google Earth is not of much help as this part is nothing but clouds and low resolution.I you can help - please contact me either here or send me an email :cedarbush@_removethis_gmx.netPlease remove the "_removethis_" part of the above email adress - it is only protection against spam robots picking up adresses. Thanks in advance for any help :-)Cedar

Hey there.Sorry I don't have any way to give you the chart, but as I have it here. its runway 34/16, heading 344 and 164 as I'm sure you knew. 6890 by 148. I'll try to explain this the best I can, about 3/4 down runway 34, there are two turnoffs to the west. One begins the bottom of the apron, the other begins the top. I'd say the apron is about 800 by 200. The ils for 34 is a DME, localizer is ISR 110.500. And there are ODALS on the approach for 16 with a papi on the left. and SSALR with a papi on the left for 34. Let me know if you need any other info,Hope this helps!Skylar

It is just a unicom frequency of 122.8, and field elevation is 1762ft. There are a couple of other frequencies, but are no useful concerning flightsim. Jeppesen doesn't have a chart for this airport which doesn't surprise me considering it is a private airfield.MattEDIT: I just saw that this thread is almost a year old!! Oh well...

Yeah jepp does have a chart for this airport. I have the airport diagram, the ILS for 34, and a RNAV for both 34 and 16. I also have CAP charts for CFG6.
