Finally had the time to work on the flight dynamics and finished them yesterday. Sorry I couldn't do them originally before release. Some may like the new version, some may not. Should be available in the latest files shortly. Critisism is welcome as always, but outright bashing will not be. Please be sure to read everything contained within the files. Theres some mention of the 727 in there as well.Enjoy!mike@sgair.nethttp://sgair.net/images/member_name_banners/mike_small.jpg

Will this alter the aircraft's behaviour at lower speeds with flaps set? I have noticed that the aircraft has a tendancy to descend and slow down a little too fast even with just a small setting of flaps.

This is a question for anyone who can modify the flight dynamics: is it possible to adjust the dynamics to match with Richard Probst's almost perfect 727 panel (similar to what Charles Fox has done for the Mike Stone 727)? Some problems: the trim (you have to trim allmost all the way up for takeoff), the fuel (if you take 100% in the wing tanks it surpasses the max amount of fuel in the gauges), and the EPR setting (going all the way around the gauge). And could anyone tell me the ZFW of this 727?

Which 727 in particular are you referring to? FFX? If so, the fuel quantitities set in the config are as specified by Boeing. And through testing with 90% total fuel, no one has had to trim "all the way up" for takeoff. If not, maybe I can help, but I need to know what 727 you are using and what airfile and config is contained within.mike@sgair.nethttp://sgair.net/images/member_name_banners/mike_small.jpg

I'm using the FFX727 (in the FFX737-200 package), and I don't have to trim all the way up, but out of the green band wich is the normal trim position for takeoff, so I guess (I'm not sure) that it requires more trim than in real life. But still, I think the MD's, 732 and 722 are 3 of the best aircraft in FS world!!!

I'm out of the "green" too. And the reason for that I chalk up to one or more of the following- I still do not know enough about the unlabeled parameters within the airfile to make all the finite adjustments and I don't rely on the accuracy of the guage programming either. Sorry, but I do try my best with what little I know of the airfile specifically. It was easier when I was just a mechanic working on these birds. :-lolOn real 27's, you will always see the elevators trimmed up at a noticable angle during take off, same as the other "T" tails. Being that far up/high off the center axis of the aircraft, they require more adjustment to compensate for the difference.mike@sgair.nethttp://sgair.net/images/member_name_banners/mike_small.jpg
