DirectX 9.0a

DirectX 9.0a was released today at www.betanews.com (not on the Microsoft site as of this posting).Has anybody tried it? I'm a little leary after the initial release of 9.0.

There redirect went to the Microsoft website which downloaded the same 32.6MB file from December 2002. I didn't try the Web Install to see if it installed newer files.

Dave, Haven't tried it but I've had no problems w 9.0 since I installed it.. It seems that 9a fixes minor bugs and issues w messenger so it may pay to wait and see.

Don't see any improvement in FS over DX9, but that's not really surprising.ChasW
