For those that are posting these shots in here. Have you overcome the blurry textures as you fly problem? If so how?If not then do you just refresh the scenery every few minutes?

"For those that are posting these shots in here. Have you overcome the blurry textures as you fly problem? If so how?If not then do you just refresh the scenery every few minutes?"No and Yes. I halt the sim periodically either in pause or slew mode. I then wait or refresh. I reckon it's an acceptable price to pay when I am now able to download, cache and enjoy exploring areas of the world in accurate 3D which was not possible before TP - all from the comfort of my chair!Mike :)

Took a while but I finally have weakened and opened a blog with links to my flight videos. The landing in Ogden would show the scenery you show. I wish I had the knowhow to to a video of fs along with tileproxy at the same time-that would be cool!Bog site:http://geofageofa.spaces.live.com/http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpg

Hey Mike-ot but...I looked at your specs and see you are from Scotland. Me too-about 100 years ago-my family mostly from there. I was the West Coast (Us) champion bagpiper when I was 16-a lifetime ago-lol.Been to England/Wales many times but still have to get to my roots in Scotland sometime...http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpgForum Moderatorhttp://geofageofa.spaces.live.com/

Those shots are more like art than screen shots. Beautiful composition. Very well done Gunnar. Thanks for sharing.

Hallo,I thank you for your praising words. The flight simulation is level elevatedly been by the software TP on a new one. I have been allowed to consider the shown pictures a real tourist already. The representation in the FS is extremely realistic. I have used "FS Global X" as Mesh.Best regards,Gunnar

I must agree that Luzern is a very nice location using TP.The nice green fields in combination with the mountains using G provider are incredible.Maybe "the wizard" can make some of his famous widescreen - screens here?Regards,

I wonder what this means for the future of flight sim. I mean really ever go back to the crappy defalut textures? It's kinda like when I got DSL from dial up. I realized I could never go back to dial up.Here is where I Live. In those red tiled houses. In fact I had my mustang parked in the driveway when this pic was taken. Crazy!! I fly my remote control plane in the fieldshttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/174514.jpgThere is where I work. See the big red-tiled building in the middlehttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/174515.jpgHere is Oceano Ca. It's right by the ocean. They fly a Bi-Plane out of there on the weekends over Pismo California.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/174518.jpg
