New To TileProxy

Recommended Posts

Guest cbuchner1

Offline mode has a few bad side effects. It can lead to high res tiles being generated from low res data. That leads to very pixelated high res tiles. The bad news is that Tileproxy won't ever replace them with higher resolution source data after disabling offline mode because they are already at 1024x1024 pixels.... So Tileproxy won't reload them.So the only way to get rid of the pixelated tiles is to clean out the World folder later on. Beta 6 will likely not have this problem anymore.Christian

I had been having the same problem as m_av and had .NET 2.0 installed. What finally made things work was that I had to run SimConnect.msi. I don't understand why that had not already been run, but at least it solved my problem. Hope that helps anyone else out there.
