Separate Tileproxy and FSX installations

The TileProxy Project (TP) is something that definitely appeals to me and, in particular, after having looked at all the wonderful screenshots posted here and on other forums. I am a little in doubt about one thing, however. I realize that TP can simply be installed on top of a user's current version of FSX, but, in my case, I have a fairly nice working FSX with settings - and scenery - that I'm not interested in ruining. My question then is: are you guys installing FSX and Tile Proxy on separate drives in order to test this? Or what do you do if you want to fly in TP one day - and non-TP the next day?? Hope someone can offer some advice. Thanks.

If you are really afraid to mess up your system, think about getting a 2nd hard drive, slapping Windows XP or Vista on it and using it to boot into an alternative system on which you install FSX and Tileproxy.However to do this you should know how to deal with a multi-boot scenario and how NOT to damage your primary boot drive in the process. ;-)Christian

Running FSX with TP works like this: start TP through your start menu, then start FSX and off you go.Running FSX without TP works like this: skip the first step, just start FSX.
