Mount Rainier and Seattle on "Service 3".

"Service 3" in the Seattle Area is a stunner. I am using a map_version of "1.7" - this covers the entire area including Mount Rainier in extreme detail. Go take a helicopter there (up Mount Rainier I mean).Christian

Hi ChristianCould you tell me (again?) how you get the version id from the different services...Btw (Santa Claus wish) would it be a difficult task for you to include in the ProxyUser.ini file a parameter that would call the latest version as a default choice. Maybe it is not possible...Thank you again for that grrrreat job.RegardsJpP

Have you also noticed their new water in that area? Look around Whidbey Island, for example (KNUW would make a good starting point). They have a thin strip of photo water along the coastline, and then blend over to their generic water tiles. This looks remarkably similar to your water masks. Look out, they're watching you... :-lol

I use the Firefox web browser, access their service in Satellite View and then access the "Page Information" menu under Extras. There under the Media tab I can see all opened image URLs. These URLs contain the version specifier somewhere.Getting the current map version for different service would likely require entirely different methods, so I never implemented any generic code to do so.
