Where ( on the planet) are high res textures

Christian has set up the latest TP so that you can download textures with a higher re than 1.1 meteres - and the Sim itself can also be set for these.But - where can we find these textures? Which mapping service and where abouts on the globe? Thanks for any ideas.Barry

The San Francisco Bay area, for example. In fact, G**gle's images of their campus in Montain View, right next to Moffett Field (KNUQ), go all the way to about 3 cm/px. Generally, many major cities in the US and Europe are covered at cm resolutions on all three services (Yes, Y! now have resolutions better than 1 m, too. But they changed their URL format to support that, and I'm not quite sure if TileProxy would handle this correctly).
