Parking Brake/Ground Power

Recommended Posts

Bryan,Yesterday I purchased Fs2C for ATR. Let me reverse I purchased the ATR because of Fs2Crew.It is not easy..to follow up all events accordingly.. I think we spoiled with Fs2Crew in PMDG and LDS767. ATR is all over the place. But I took the challenge. My first problem:I followed the Fs2C manual. Cold/Dark start. I clicked battery switch. I clicked also both Ext.Power switches but Power Available light does not comes ON. I noticed, when tried to put parking brake ON. IT goes on and immediately goes off, so I cannot put Parking Brake On,Here is the interesting part. On instrument panel when I click the parking brake on suddenly EHSI comes alive (it was dark screen before)If I release the brake EHSI power is off.It happens to "Ground Power" switch same thing "Available" light illuminated when brake on and goesf off when brake off.To keep EHSI and Ground power available Parking Brake should be ON. But it doesn't.Did I made something wrong??? Please advise.RegardsSanal

I uninstalled ATR and Fs2C and reinstalled them. All working well.

Glad you got it working :-)The ATR is a lot more complex than the 767/747. It's the nature of the ATR itself (non automated turbo-prop) and the fact that the SOPs I modeled are fairly intricate.I once commented to my ATR consultant that it's probably hardly to memorize all their required calls (and do them in the right order) than it is to fly the plane :-)Bryan
