short answer: 5m vs 90m resolution

FSG v2 resolution is 9.6m, not 90m. Plus, FSG v2 eliminates the MSFS airport plateau issue.If ProMesh hasn't corrected for this issue, I agree with FalconAF: I won't pay the $35+ PER STATE charge for the mesh.

The CA 5m mesh is great except for the airport plateaus. I agree they really need to fix that. Justin @FSGenesis took care of his plateau issue, FS Dreamscapes needs to do the same...it's about time. I also got the Utah photoscenery (comes w/5m mesh too) and it's simply awesome. It loads much faster than megascenery (fewer, but larger bgl files?) and it's beautiful. Best Monument Valley you will find. I got it over Thanksgiving for $26, worth it IMO. Overall I think FSDreamscapes has some really good stuff that is easy to install and plays well with FSX. I don't fly in europe (until GEXn comes out for that) so I don't know how the UK mesh is.-jk

9.6m for the US yes, but surely not for the UK.
