Baron and LearJet

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys! Newbie here. Just wanted to share something I discovered last night with the Baron58. I tried alot of different things trying to get it to fly alittle better and not be so sensitive but couldn't seem to find that sweetspot. I did find something out last night though. On the runway before takeoff, I trimmed up a bit, to the first line below the centerline on the trim indicator. It tookoff VERY realistically. The turns and banks were nowhere near as sensitive along with pitch control. Much more stable overall. It seems getting a good start goes all the way to a good finish or landing. I trimmed down as normal but guess that starting with the said trim settings meant new or different settings throughout the flight than before. If you try this please let me know how it works for you. Also, I've heard some folks are having problems with the LearJet. I FS2K, I couldn't and wouldn't fly it because it was WAY to sensitive but I was under the impression it was fixed in FS2K2 because it flies great for me, nothing at all like in FS2K. Just wondered about that. William

Hey Peter, I'll check those out. I just wanted to mention the trim settings to let people know it does make a difference in case they want to stick with the default aircraft. Thanks again for the links! William
