Change that to 4GB and it's all good. DDR2 is so cheap now. $45 buys you 4GB PC2-8000 from G.Skill @ Newegg. I paid twice that earlier this year and don't regret it at all.

Agreed, 4gb is overkill for fs9 but hey, why not?After MIR its 10 bucks at newegg for some XMS2 stuff (2GB)

You're right. It won't be used directly by FS9 (at least not in XP/Vista 32-bit) but at that price there's no reason not to. If Dave ever decides to switch to a 64-bit OS and FSX he'll be ready, too.

No Kidding?I'm from Apple Valley, well grew up in South MSP, just 1 mi north of the MSP airportIt's quite chilly here today. Though I can't complain too much, up in the tower where its warm - all those cold pilots on the ramp lolI think the windchill this afternoon was below zero....but it happens!

Dave,unfortunately $900 won't buy you a pre-built gaming computer. A decent Dell XPS or Gateway FX system will run at least $1200.
