Modifying Ai Traffic

Recommended Posts

I tried a quick search but couldnt find anything useful so here goes:1) I'd like to either remove or drastically reduce the comical nav/strobe lights on AI aircraft.2) How do I increase the taxi speed of AI planes?

Hi,You can easily remove most of them.Usually, lights in AI aircraft are listed in the aircraft.cfg file in the Lights section. Just put a // in front of the ones you don't want, and renumber the rest into numerical order.A few are built into the model (they appear as larger "pompoms" of light), and can't be changed. To reduce the size of the lights would require editing (or downloading) a different halo.bmp file, and that can have other consequences, since it's also used by runway lights, etc. There are some fs9.cfg file entries that can modify that, though (I don't know them).Hope this helps,
